Hope

I hate english and writing papers and all of that kinda stuff, but when it comes to grammar and puncuation it bugs me when things are wrong. On our trip to California a couple of weeks ago we stopped in Hope, AZ and took the following picture.

Can you tell me what's wrong with it?? Here's a clue:

"Y-O-U-'-R-E means you are, Y-O-U-R means your!"

Can you name who said that quote, what they were talking about and what it's from?? If you know me at all, it should be pretty easy to guess what it's from.

"The More Boys I Meet"

I have a new favorite song. It's called "The More Boys I Meet" by Carrie Underwood. It rings so true, especially if you are a member of the Prescott YSA Ward. The song is pretty much saying "the more boys I meet, the more I love my dog". Lately that has been so true. The more boys I talk to lately, the stupider they seem. Ha ha. That's mean but it's true. Check it out!

Happy Birthday to ME!

This year for my birthday I decided that I wanted to go to Disneyland since it's "get in free on your birthday" year. I have been waiting for it for like two months. We left on Thursday afternoon and stopped a few places to take some pictures. We just ate dinner and went to bed when we finally got there.

Friday, we went to the Balboa Beach. It was freezing cold. I was seriously shivering the entire time we were there. After we hung out at the beach, my mom had seen this bike buggy thing that people were riding around and she insisted that we go rent one and ride around Newport Beach. It was so funny and actually kinda fun.

This is my favorite picture of the whole trip. I love him!

We rode this around Newport Beach.

When Saturday finally arrived, I was so excited to go to Disneyland. We got there about 8:15 and spent the whole day there. When it's your birthday they give you this awesome button that says "Happy Birthday" Kourtney! Every one in the park says "Happy Birthday" to you. It's so freakin awesome. To go with the button, I got a hat too. I was definately lookin HOT that day. Hehe. I think my favorite ride of the day was California Screamin' Roller Coaster. It was so awesome. They stopped us at the bottom of the climb and then we heard "5-4-3-2-1" and they shot us up and back down the roller coaster. Talk about an adrenaline rush, haha. We went from 0-60 in like three seconds. I love things like that. All in all I had an amazing birthday!

I love my job...

I seriously have the best job in the world. I love it so much. I never thought in my life that I would find a job that is so rewarding and I love so much. When I get there all of the worries that I have disappear, they are not important anymore. My kids are the greatest. This week we had a little mishap that made me rethink things for an afternoon. I always have my phone out on the table so that I can just get the time off of it instead of looking up at the clock when I am signing all of the kids. Well, yesterday Tyler picked it up and was playing with it. I told him to put it down because the last time he was playing with it he accidentally called someone. After asking him a few times to please put it down his brother decided to intervene. Apparently they both had one end, pulled and suddenly my phone was pretty much in two pieces. I was so upset and angry. It was really hard because they are my two favorite kids....whoops I'm not supposed to have favorites but I do. After work, I headed over to the Verizon store where they replaced it for free. Thankfully, today everything was back to normal.

I have so much fun while I am work. It's awesome. The week before spring break was spirit week. I was only able to dress up on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday was sports day. The only sports attire I have is a Sundog's shirt, so I sported it for the day. Wednesday was cowboy day. I got some boots and a sweet hat. It was sooo fun to dress up.

My Fun Weekend with the Girls!

This past weekend was sooo much fun. Thursday night Tricia got into town. We hung out at Megan's house for a while and then went to Applebee's for dessert. It was just like old times. I have missed her so much. I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with her.

Celery up the nose. ha ha.

On Friday, Tricia and I went down to the Mesa, AZ Temple where our two friends Nate and Jenny were sealed together for time and all eternity. They were so happy. Congratulations!

so in love

Kasey got into town on Friday. She went with us to Jenny & Nate's reception. After their reception we went to Applebee's with some friends. I have a question: have any of you ever pumped breast milk from someone else's breasts? I have. Kasey's pump was going too slow, so she made me do it manually. It was kinda funny. The next day Kasey and I went to In-N-Out, Target, Old Navy and then another wedding. This wedding was a civil ceremony at the Windmill House in Chino. It was our friends Ashely & Adam. We had talked my friend Steven into coming with us. I'm so glad because he made the reception so much fun.

After the reception, we met Tricia and Alex at the hockey. The game sucked but we had sooo much fun. I am so thankful that I was able to see two of my best friends this weekend and get to spend some time with them. And I am so happy that I finally got to meet Kasey's daughter, Adalie. This was definately a fun weekend.
