Cruise
We are leaving tomorrow morning for California. Then on Sunday we are boarding our Cruise ship and heading up to Canada. We will be gone for a whole week. It will be nice to be out of Prescott for that long. This is my mom's birthday present for herself. She is turning 50 on June 9 and she has lost over 100 pounds. She thinks it's time to celebrate. I'm super excited, I just hope there are some cute guys on this cruise. That will make it 10 times better.
The New Look
I wanted to get my hair done before we leave on our cruise this weekend. I had also decided that I was ready for a new look, something different. The look I had before was my post break up look and I'm way over that so it's time for something new. Here it is:

I love this new look. I haven't had bangs since probably middle school.

DiSnEyLaNd!
This past weekend I went to Disneyland with my friends Alison, Brittney, Michael and Steven. My mom decided to let us take her Yukon, which was awesome, so we all piled in on Thursday afternoon when Steven got off of work and headed to Cali!! We got to our hotel about 10:30 but we (us girls I guess I should say) were so excited that we could not sleep. We woke the boys up giggling and whispering but the boys kept us up with their dumb impressions "another gator?! get me the shovel!" The next morning we all got up and were ready by 7:00am, I think that shows just how excited we all were to be going to Disneyland. We got to Disneyland about 7:45 and stood there waiting for them to open the gates and let us in. They did not open the gates until 8:30 and the park didn't open until 9:00. We first went on Pirates of the Carribean and then Indiana Jones. We were having so much fun. In the early afternoon we headed on over to Califonia Adventure and had a BLAST!! We went on the California Screamin Roller Coaster three or four times. It was also my first time to go on the Hollywood Tower of Terror which was amazing. The second day we split up for most of the day and I think things went a little better and everyone had a little more fun. On Sunday before we headed back we went to Huntington Beach. That was fun and there were a LOT of cute guys there. Overall the trip was a blast.

so excited for them to let us in...

Disneyland: Here We Come!!!
I am soooo stoked because today some friends and I are leaving for California to go to Disneyland. My friend Brittney cracks me up because she texts me everyday with the countdown. I am posting new blogs because I am trying to make time pass by faster so that we can leave but it doesn't seem to be working very well. HAHA. Steven gets off of work at 2:30 and then Michael and I are meeting him and then taking off. We are picking up Brittney and Alison in Wilhoit on our way out of town. I can't wait until we are on our way.
Alison, Brittney & I three days before our departure.
Do you think we are excited? Hehe!

It's been a while...
It's been a while since I have blogged and figured it was time for an update. The spring semester at Yavapai College came to an end on May 12. I was so happy that night when I got everything done and turned in. I am also quite happy to say that I am DONE with PAYROLL. I hated that class the most. It was horrible. I want to thank my mom for all of her help with that class because without her help there is no way that I would have passed that class. It feels like I am never ever going to be done with school. I still have 3-4 semesters left before I get my associate's degree. Then I still have to go to school after that to get my bachelor's degree. It's never ending...AAAAHHHHH!
My last day of work was May 21. It was kind of a hard day for me because I love my job so much but I only ALMOST started crying once. I was surprised that I didn't cry at all. I miss all of my kids so much and I hope that they are having a wonderful summer break. I can't wait to see them all again next year.
Since my employment ended last Thursday it has been bugging me that I do not have a job. I know I was unemployed for a year before I started working at this job, I think back and wonder how I went so long without working but then I realized that I had my grandma to take care of. Now, I have absolutely nothing to do. These past couple of weeks have been kind of tough because my grandma has been on my mind a lot. I miss her like crazy and wish so badly that she was here to help me through all of my problems. She was always the first person I would go to. She taught me so much throughout my life, things that will stick with me until the day I die. I know even though I cannot see her, she is always right by my side helping me get through life.
A few weeks ago, I went to my family ward to watch my brother pass the sacrament for the first time ever. That was such an amazing experience. To see the joy in his face while he passed the sacrament made me so happy. I am so glad that he is excited to be a member of this gospel. Since he received the aaronic priesthood, this is the first time we have ever had the priesthood in our home. It's such an awesome feeling. I am so grateful for this gospel and the joy and peace it brings into our lives. I know this church is the only true church upon the earth today. I know my Savior and Heavenly Father know me personally and love me despite all of my flaws. I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice that my Savior made for me so that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again. I am so thankful for all of my blessings and say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
